Alberta requirements for content and Health Canada standards.

Close site: less than 20 minutes from emergency services; Distant: 20 to 40 minutes; Isolated: more than 40 minutes. 
Employees means total number present on a shift.

Additional supplies such as Blankets, Stretcher and Splints are required in Distant and Isolated sites, for many employers. Please consult Schedule 2, tables 5, 6 and 7 (pp. S2-5 to S2-7) in the Act for complete requirements as well as definitions of terms, or contact us for assistance. We can also quote for all your needs for First Aid Room and replacement supplies as required for larger employers.
