Setup & Location:
- Choose a Location: Place the unit as close to potential workplace hazards as possible (within 55 feet) in an unobstructed area kept between 60°F and 100°F.
- Tabletop Option: Set the compact unit directly onto a stable, flat counter or table surface.
- Wall-Mount Option: Secure the included wall-mounting bracket firmly to a reinforced wall (using proper hardware for studs, brick, or concrete), ensuring the unit height complies with ANSI Z358.1 standards (nozzles 33 to 45 inches from the floor). Hang the unit securely onto the installed bracket.
Filling & Activating:
- Unscrew the top cap. Fill the 9-gallon tank with potable (drinking-quality) water and the recommended sterile eyewash preservative/additive up to the “WATER FILL LINE“.
- Record Maintenance: Use a permanent marker to write the current month, year, and your initials on the tag or sticker under the cap to track water and additive replacement.
- Secure the Cap: Screw the top cap back on tightly.
- Operation: The station is ready for use; pulling the front activation panel drops the door to provide hands-free gravity-fed flushing for the required 15 minutes.
